It will scan for any traces created by various web browsers and it will delete them immediately.

The application is freeware, which means that you can use it for as long as you want, free of charge. The setup process is straightforward, but you should be mindful of what you click on the way because it may install a few plugins on your default web browser.

Tweaks Privacy Defender removes traces left behind by Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari. When you are ready, you must click the Start Scan button, which is the only option on the interface's home screen. All web browsers must be closed, before scanning. If they are still running, the application will terminate them automatically.

While scanning, Tweaks Privacy Defender will count the found traces and it will display the number above the progress bar. The results are categorized in a list. You will see the total numbers of found cache items, cookie history, saved sessions and more. A question mark icon is displayed next to each item. If you are not sure about a specific item, you can hover with your mouse cursor over one of these icons to view a description.

You can erase everything in the results list or target certain types of traces. The selection can be made by clicking check boxes, after which you need to click a button to remove them from your computer.
